We are pleased to present the 2024 Southern Harm Reduction Conference at a defining

time when our collective focus and efforts are essential. This conference will bring our

multidisciplinary stakeholders from all aspects of society together and expand our

understanding of harm reduction efforts on national and regional levels.

At a time when our country is grappling with worsening overdose rates, a significant rise in

opioid-induced mental health crisis, the fentanyl era, and rising data on infectious diseases

we do hope that our conference will provide a forum that will lead to new partnerships and

engagements that can identify, develop, and implement cutting-edge ideas, strategies, and

connections.
